M&A Analyst
We are looking for an experienced M&A Analyst who will seek targets for the deals in Switzerland and London. The succesful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, building complex financial models, and performing due diligence to assess the feasiility of an M&A transaction.
Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Identifying potential M&A targets, conducting initial research and analysis to evaluate their suitability
- Review and analyze financial statements, contracts, legal documents, to assess the potential risks and opportunities of the transaction
- Сreating valuation models of target companies based on the preliminary data
- Preparing presentations and reports to communicate the findings to the key stakeholders and help guide the decision-making process
- Involve in the transaction process to ensure it is completed smoothly and efficiently by working closely with the legal, tax, and other advisors
- Willingness to work for a long time with a large amount of information
Qualifications:
- Strong academic credentials in finance, economics, accounting — Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking firms, private equity firms, or corporate development teams
- Understanding contracts, legal implications, and regulatory rules are essential
- Solid understanding of M&A transaction processes, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis
- Understanding of the global economy
- Strong research skills
- Strong attention to details
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- CFA is a plus
