M&A Analyst
We are looking for an M&A Analyst who will analyze deal targets, primarily in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, building complex financial models, and performing due diligence to assess the feasibility of an M&A transaction.
Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, contracts, and legal documents to assess the potential risks and opportunities of the transaction
- Сreating valuation models of target companies based on the preliminary data
- Preparing presentations and reports to communicate the findings to the key stakeholders and support the decision-making process
Your additional responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:
- Identifying potential M&A targets, conducting initial research and analysis to evaluate their suitability
- Be involved in the transaction process to ensure it is completed smoothly and efficiently by working closely with the legal, tax, and other advisors
- Working for a long time with a large amount of information
- Interacting with designers for efficient presentation of complex data
Qualifications:
- Strong academic credentials in finance, economics, and accounting — Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in investment banking firms, private equity firms, or corporate development teams
- Solid understanding of M&A transaction processes, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis
- Understanding of the global economy
- Understanding contracts, legal implications, and regulatory rules
- Strong research skills
- Strong attention to details
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- CFA would be a plus
